Tata Harrier EV
The Tata Harrier EV concept automobile was presented by Tata Motors at the Auto Expo 2023. The public saw the vehicle's design for the first time, while the specifics are still undisclosed. Speaking of which, the Harrier EV maintains most the Internal combustion engine (ICE) variant's design cues but has undergone several alterations to give it a more contemporary appearance. Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors unveiled the Tata Sierra EV SUV concept in addition to the Harrier EV. The car's exterior appearance has undergone significant changes since it was first displayed at the Auto Expo 2020. The car has a simple, elegant appearance with a hefty bumper at the back and a clean front fascia with a thin LED light bar. The arches of the alloy wheels have a lovely dual-tone finish.
Maruti Suzuki eVX
Maruti Suzuki introduced the eVX, a SUV concept that represents the company's first-ever EV. The car is said to have a 60kWh battery pack that is assisted by a "safe battery technology," as the car manufacturer describes it, and it has a futuristic yet minimalist design language. On a complete charge, the eVX is expected to have a range of up to 550 km. In addition, Maruti Suzuki has disclosed that it intends to debut the eVX by 2025.
Hyundai Ioniq 6
Another electric vehicle that debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo was the Hyundai Ioniq 6. However, there are two alternative powertrain options available for the vehicle, one with a single motor and the other with a dual motor. As a result, the stated ranges are 547 km and 500 km, respectively. The Ioniq 6's international model has a top speed of 185 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5.1 seconds. The EV's 53kWh battery and ultra-fast charging technologies enable it to go from zero to eighty percent charged in just 18 minutes.
Kia EV9 SUV Concept
The EV9 all-electric concept SUV from Kia Motors was displayed at the 2023 Auto Expo. The EV9 will increase Kia's visibility in the electric vehicle industry since the EV6 is currently the only model available. The EV9's powertrain is built on the E-GMP design, which will let it reach its stated range of 483 kilometres. When the battery is completely depleted, a 350kW charger charges it from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
BYD Atto 3
The compact electric SUV, Build Your Dreams (BYD) Atto 3, was just introduced in India for the asking price of Rs 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). BYD debuted a limited version of the Atto 3 in a special Forest Green shade at the Auto Expo 2023, though interested consumers may pre-book the vehicle for Rs 50,000 and expect deliveries in January 2023. The EV has a 60.48 kWh battery pack that provides a range of about 521 kilometres, as approved by ARAI. The Atto 3's electric magnet synchronous motor allows it to go from 0 to 100 kph in approximately 7.3 seconds.
BYD Seal EV
The BYD Seal, a high-end electric sedan, comes fitted with a dual electric motor with a combined 523 horsepower can propel the EV from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in under 3.8 seconds, according to information provided by the Chinese automaker. In addition, the BYD Seal may have two battery options, with a claimed range of 550 km for the 61.4 kWh battery and 700 km for the 82.5 kWh battery. Regarding features, the car includes a sizeable 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system and a premium inside finish.
MG4 EV
Morris Garages (MG) displayed their high-end electric hatchback, the MG4 EV at the Auto Expo 2023. When the car finally appears in India at some point in the future, it might face competition from models like the BYD Atto 3 and the upcoming Hyundai Kona Electric. There are two alternative battery pack configurations available for the MG4 EV, one with a 51kWh capacity and the other with a 64kWh capacity. While the latter type claims to have a stated range of 452 km, the former can give ranges of up to 350 km. The MG4 EV has a sporty appearance with sheer surfaces and clean lines in terms of design.
